We want your episode experience to be smooth and professional. Please complete the following steps right away:

1️⃣ Complete the Guest Intake Form

Provide your name, short bio, professional headshot, and relevant background details.

Deadline: Within 24 hours of booking. Episodes cannot be confirmed without this step.

2️⃣ Sign the Media Release Agreement


Within 24–48 hours, you will receive an e-signature request (via Google Docs) from our team. This release grants permission to record and distribute your episode.

Deadline: Must be signed at least 48 hours before recording.

3️⃣ Review Recording Environment & Background Standards

To maintain the visual quality and brand integrity of Layers of H.E.R.™, please review these simple standards before your session:

If you do not have an aesthetically styled background, plan to record in front of a blank wall (neutral tone preferred).
Our team will provide Layered Studio Virtual Backgrounds that reflect the Layers of H.E.R.™ brand palette soft purples, gold accents, and white neutrals — ensuring a polished and cohesive appearance across all interviews.

Recording Tips:

  • 💡 Use natural daylight or a soft, warm lamp placed in front of you (not behind).
  • 🎥 Position your camera at eye level and sit 2–3 feet from the wall.
  • 🪞 Ensure you are centered in the frame with balanced headroom.
  • 🎧 Use headphones (In-Ears) and minimize background noise.
  • 🖼️ Turn off background blur if using a provided virtual background.

4️⃣ What Happens Next

Once your Intake Form and Media Release are received, our team will review and issue your official confirmation email. This email will include:

  • 🗓️ Google Calendar Invite with your confirmed date/time, episode outline, and preparation instructions.
  • 🎙️ Riverside Recording Link to access our virtual recording studio.

Action Required: Accept all calendar invites to avoid scheduling conflicts.

5️⃣ Confirmation & Preparation

Your final confirmation email will contain:

  • Day of recording checklist
  • Key talking points and episode objectives
  • Any pre-work or prep questions (if applicable)
